2024 Ohio Neuropsychology Group Meeting

The 2024 Neuropsychology Group Meeting will be held in person on Friday September 27 at the Nationwide Children's Hospital Conference Center. Four hours of continuing education will be provided, including 1 hour of ethics related continuing education. Specific topics including sports concussion, ethics of over-diagnosis, neuropsychologist's role in organ transplant, and automatic screening for cognitive decline.

1. Identify ethical considerations in under- and over-diagnosis in neuropsychology
2. Discuss neuropsychologist's role in organ transplants
3. Identify and describe applications for computerized cognitive testing
4. Provide updated information about sports concussion evaluation and management, including information about neuropsychology’s role in a multidisciplinary sports concussion team.

In support of improving patient care, Nationwide Children's Hospital is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC),  the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for the healthcare team.

Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs. Nationwide Children's Hospital designates this activity for 4.00 continuing education credit(s) (3.00 APA credit hours and 1 ethics credit hour).

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected].

Nationwide Children's Hospital reserves the right to cancel or postpone this program if necessary; in the event of cancellation, course fees will be fully refunded. We are not responsible for other costs incurred such as non-refundable airline tickets or hotel penalties.
