Overview
Our second biennial Pediatric Oncology Integrative Diagnostics and Targeted Therapies Symposium, sponsored by the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Division of Hematology, Oncology, and Blood & Marrow Transplant, in collaboration with the Institute for Genomic Medicine, will provide a comprehensive overview across three days of current and developing diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. These sessions, anchored by four plenary speakers, will empower pediatric oncology teams to integrate these new tools at each stage of care of children with cancer.

Registration

Companies who are interested in having an informational table at the conference should register under the "Exhibitors" tab.

Workshops

**Please note: the workshops will be limited for the virtual attendees **

We are excited to offer this year dedicated interactive workshops on a host of topics related to the use of integrative diagnostics and targeted therapies in children, adolescents and young adults with cancers. These will be small group sessions with opportunities for case review and Q&A.

In person attendees, you will be able to select up to 3 topics which you would like to attend from the following:

  • Nursing Considerations of Targeted Therapies: This session will be led by nursing representation from Nationwide Children's and discuss the management considerations of patients receiving different classes of targeted therapies, both in the inpatient and outpatient setting.

  • Pharmacy Considerations of Targeted Therapies: This session will be led by pharmacists and pharmacologists from Nationwide Children's and discuss the management considerations of patients receiving different classes of targeted therapies, both in the inpatient and outpatient setting.

  • Psychosocial Considerations of Targeted Therapies: This session will review specific case vignettes that reflect the patient-facing implications of targeted therapies, including barriers to care and overall care considerations.

  • Regulatory Perspectives on Targeted Therapies: We will host members experienced in the regulatory process of the development and approval of targeted therapies, addressing key topics and barriers to evaluation of novel and existing agents and innovative solutions.

  • Working with Pharma: This session will elucidate the working structure of pharma and how to optimally partner with them for best clinical and research practice.

  • Partnering with Advocacy and Philanthropy: This session will facilitate direct collaboration with advocacy, optimizing how to best work toward shared goals and understand the mission of patients, families, and advocacy organizations.

  • Mentors and Mentees: This session will discuss how to develop new mentorships and how to optimize interactions for mentors and mentees at different points in their career.
