Our second biennial Pediatric Oncology Integrative Diagnostics and Targeted Therapies Symposium, sponsored by the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Division of Hematology, Oncology, and Blood & Marrow Transplant, in collaboration with the Institute for Genomic Medicine, will provide a comprehensive overview across three days of current and developing diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. These sessions, anchored by four plenary speakers, will empower pediatric oncology teams to integrate these new tools at each stage of care of children with cancer.

1. Identify different conventional, molecular and genomic pathology techniques that complement therapy selection.
2. Identify the role of genetic counselors and pathologists in the evaluation of tumor and germline genetics and genomics.
3. Identify new targeted therapies for leukemias and lymphomas.
4. Identify new targeted therapies for pediatric extracranial solid tumors.
5. Identify new targeted therapies for pediatric brain tumors.
6. Identify optimal management approaches for new classes of targeted therapies.
7. Identify pharmacy considerations of new targeted therapies.
8. Understand the psychosocial impacts and considerations of new targeted therapies.
9. Understand the rationale of proposed new combination therapies.
10. Improve communication and collaboration among the healthcare team.

In support of improving patient care, Nationwide Children's Hospital is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC),  and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), to provide continuing medical education for the healthcare team.
