Work in a helping profession? Aren’t sure how to care for you on stressful days? This presentation is written for you. “YOU Matter, Too” focuses on helping participants learn how to identify distress within their body and increase awareness of their own needs, using Stress First Aid and the 5 wellbeing focuses. Each participant will walk away with concrete strategies they can start using immediately to help regulate their wellbeing. By identifying what matters to you, what is within your control, and listening to body cues, participants will begin creating self-care plans that work for them.

1. Recall information on provided resources shared to successfully use NCH Employee Benefits.
2. Apply Stress First Aid continuum to measure stress level.
3. Implement concrete strategies learned to regulate stress level.
4. Utilize strategies to improve communication among the healthcare team.
5. Demonstrate effective communication strategies to enhance interdisciplinary collaboration and patient care outcomes

In support of improving patient care, Nationwide Children's Hospital is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC),  and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), to provide continuing medical education for the healthcare team.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected].

Nationwide Children's Hospital reserves the right to cancel or postpone this program if necessary; in the event of cancellation, course fees will be fully refunded. We are not responsible for other costs incurred such as non-refundable airline tickets or hotel penalties.
