Beyond the Birds and the Bees: an Askable Adults Training
Join us as we take a closer look at being an askable adult and answering sensitive questions about sex from youth. Beyond the Birds and the Bees is a great supplemental training for PREP Instructors as well as for any agency staff, caregivers, and parents that would like to increase their confidence in navigating sensitive conversations with young people.
Workshop Goal: Increase ability for adults to talk with young people about sex, using accurate information and resources.

1. Increase Knowledge of age appropriate and medically accurate information about sex
2. Increase skills in answering sensitive questions and referrals to services
3. Identify at least 2 state laws and policies
4. Identify how personal values affect conversations
