2023 Nursing Grand Rounds Enduring: Opioid Use and Nursing Research, EBP and QI

Patient care services grand rounds is used to address any baseline knowledge gaps of inter-professional teams through evidenced based practiced and any changes in the organization. It is used to disseminate new or updated information across the institution and professions. It will be presented as an Independent study from recorded presentation. Participants to complete a post test at the end of the presentation. This format was selected to enable those from geographically diverse areas to attend/participate.

1. 1. Describe nurses’ role in improving opioid use and pain management.
2. 2. Compare and contrast approaches to clinical inquiry from research, evidence-based practice and quality improvement perspectives as applied to opioid use.

In support of improving patient care, Nationwide Children's Hospital is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC),  the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for the healthcare team.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected].
