Overview
Comprehensive pediatric medical imaging and interventional service that provides diagnostic care on an outpatient or inpatient basis from age’s birth through young adulthood are constantly changing and constant updating on cutting edge technology is needed. Procedures are also performed for selected adult patients with congenital or pediatric diseases. Physicians will learn how to utilize imaging equipment to its fullest capability.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Recognize radiologic entities shown to expedite accurate evaluation and treatment plan decisions
  2. Apply diagnostic analysis of radiology cases to provide accurate differential diagnosis to future cases
  3. Discuss recommendations for treatment options in the management of future cases based upon radiologic entities examined, across the patient care team
  4. Integrate multiple learning styles, leadership methods, and communication techniques to teach residents, fellows, and medical students to effectively communicate with peers, patients, and patient families.

Accreditation
In support of improving patient care, Nationwide Children's Hospital is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC),  and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), to provide continuing medical education for the healthcare team.
