Overview

Learning sign language can be a fun experience and help you communicate with people in the deaf and hard of hearing community.

ASL I – This 8-week class is an introduction to American Sign Language and its culture. Students will learn the alphabet, numbers, basic vocabulary and beginning sentence structure.

ASL II – This 8-week class continues to teach sentence structure, descriptions and more advanced vocabulary.

Topics included:

• Grammar and structure of ASL
• Fingerspelling the alphabet
• Signing numbers
• Simple phrases and interactions
• Vocabulary

This class requires a minimum of six (6) registrants. Participants will be notified ONE WEEK in advance if the class has been canceled.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are accepted until two weeks before the program. Refunds will be made minus 30% for administrative costs. After this time, no refunds will be given.
