Overview
This interprofessional educational symposium is designed to provide a comprehensive update on advances in the diagnosis, pathophysiology, and management of pediatric glomerular diseases. The activity will bring together a collaborative care team—including physicians, scientists, advanced practice providers, and nurses—to review emerging therapies, evolving clinical guidelines, and novel insights into disease mechanisms. Through expert-led presentations and case-based discussions, this symposium aims to enhance team-based, evidence-driven care and improve outcomes for children with glomerular disorders.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. To describe recent advances in the pathophysiology and genetic basis of pediatric glomerular diseases.
  2. To apply updated diagnostic approaches, including biomarkers and genetic testing, in clinical practice.
  3. To evaluate current and emerging therapies, including immunosuppressive and targeted biologic treatments.
  4. To collaborate effectively within an interprofessional team to develop comprehensive, patient-centered management plans.
  5. To implement evidence-based strategies to improve outcomes and reduce variability in case for pediatric patients with glomerular disease.
