2026 Heart Center Research Day- Active Integration of Cardiovascular Research into Clinical Practice

Friday, September 25, 2026, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM,  Nationwide Children's Hospital Conference Center

The Heart Center Research Day will highlight cardiovascular research being performed at Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH) and The Abigail Wexner Research Institute (AWRI). We anticipate participation from The Heart Center, The Center for Cardiovascular Research, and beyond through our collaborative networks within NCH and AWRI.

The agenda has been designed to bring together cardiovascular researchers both within and outside the Heart Center together to share and discuss the wide range of cardiovascular research currently being conducted at Nationwide Children's by our diverse group of investigators and staff.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Dr. Miyamoto, a leading physician-scientist and cardiovascular researcher, who will share her expertise on novel therapeutic strategies for heart failure, including those with single ventricle physiology, and highlight how research and clinical care can be effectively integrated. 

This year’s Research Day will feature a series of oral presentations held in the main conference center, along with a poster session showcasing the remarkable breadth and innovation of cardiovascular research taking place across our institution.

 

Objectives:
The main objective of this annual event is to highlight the amazing cardiovascular research done by our team, encourage collaboration, and celebrate our staff.

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected].
