Overview
Nationwide Children's Hospital, Center for Robotic Surgery has planned a two-day conference that will focus on robotic surgery program development, common clinical application presentations and case discussions in addition to a clinical animal lab experience designed to introduce robotic surgery to practicing pediatric surgeons.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Provide a comprehensive overview of clinical case scenarios amenable to the use of robotic technology.
  2. Review programmatic logistics including institutional support, personnel training, credentialling and quality control.
  3. Review multidisciplinary team building.

HANDS-ON LAB
Wednesday- Introduction to Robotic Surgery Lab
Designed to introduce robotic surgery to practicing pediatric surgeons.

Friday- Advanced Techniques in Robotic Surgery
Designed for pediatric surgeons with some prior robotic experience or for those new to robotic surgery, when taken in conjunction with the Wednesday training session.

Surgery Attendings: If lab space is not available to register for Day 1 (didactic sessions) and Day 2 (lab), please register for Day 1 and join the waitlist for Day 2 during the registration process. You will be contacted as soon as space becomes available for the lab portion on Day 2. 

Surgery Trainees and Perioperative Staff*: Registration is currently available for Day 1 (didactic sessions) only. If you are interested to also attend the lab, please note this when you register and you will be contacted if space becomes available for the lab portion on Day 2.  

Didactic sessions will be recorded and made available to all registrants after the symposium, as available. 

Register by July 1 to receive the discounted rate.
The registration rates will increase $100 for Physician and $50 for all other "In-Person" registration following July 1, 2025.

Participation in this conference does not qualify or credential attendees to perform robotic surgery. Competency in robotic surgical procedures requires formal training and verification through the appropriate institutional credentialing process.

In support of improving patient care, Nationwide Children's Hospital is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC),  and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), to provide continuing medical education for the healthcare team.
