Overview
The 2026 Neonatal/Fetal Conference will highlight concepts of the use of evidence-based principles of care in perinatal, fetal, and neonatal practice. The rapidly expanding evidence in these specialty areas poses challenges for the professional to remain current and to recognize opportunities for change in thought and practice. The goal of the conference is to offer science, methodology, practice initiatives and discussion points for the participant to explore. The target audience includes nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists, social workers and any other health care workers who need to broaden their abilities to support babies, parents and families in the healthcare setting.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Utilize evidence-based practice recommendations to improve patient outcomes
  2. Implement the latest, evidence-based treatment options in perinatal and neonatal patients to improve the quality of care
  3. Incorporate the most up-to-date, relevant patient education and self-management guidelines into practice for patients and families to utilize before, during, and after discharge in order to successfully transition care into the home
  4. Improve communication amongst the healthcare team.
