Join us on October 15, 2024 for the inaugural Nationwide Children’s XR Symposium to connect, collaborate and invigorate technological advancement, research discovery, talent development and impact of extended reality (XR) in the Midwest and beyond.

• Keynote of "Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Extended Reality: Theoretical and Practical Applications for Digital Technologies for Healthcare Simulation" by Dr. Todd Chang, the Medical Director and Research Director for the Children's Los Angeles Las Madrinas Simulation Center.
• "Emerging Insights in Medical XR Research Methods" shared by NIH Speaker, Dr. Susan Persky, Head of the Health Communication and Behavior Unit, Director of the Immersive Simulation Program at NIH, and a Behavioral scientist with deep expertise in VR/ XR research methodology, design, evaluation, and application. 
  
• Nine expert speakers and panelist from all around the Midwest region, covering topics like workplace simulation, intraprocedural enhancement, research methods, commercialization and more!
• Poster/Exhibitor session: It's a great networking opportunity to present your work and get feedback, especially for students! Visit the Abstracts tab and submit by September 15th. 
• Low registration fee ($200 regular; $150 for NCH/OSU; $100 for Trainee/ RN - lunch included) to attend this one day conference, especially convenient for those in Ohio.
