First Steps: Infant Care - March 27, 2024

Community Program Attendance (2.50 hours), Non-Accredited (2.50 hours)

First Steps...Infant Care Class is for the new, expecting or adopting parent to learn about basic care for their child age birth - 18 months. We know that new parents have a lot of questions about caring for their baby and keeping them safe and healthy - so our teachers are especially prepared to address your concerns during class.

Topics Parents will learn:
•Daily care such as bathing, skin care, clothing, mouth and teeth care, and feeding
•Home safety such as toys, pets, food and clothing, equipment and special tips for crawling infants
•Outdoor safety such as car seats, sun and water safety
•Common health concerns (birth-18 months)
•When to call your child’s doctor and when to use an urgent care

Registration Cost:
$15 Per Person 
Fee Includes instruction by a registered nurse, educational materials and certificate of attendance. 

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and transfers are accepted until two weeks prior to the program.  Refunds will be made minus 30% for administrative costs.  After this time, no refunds will be given.

Nationwide Children's Hospital reserves the right to cancel or postpone this program if necessary; in the event of cancellation, course fees will be fully refunded.
