Overview

The overarching goal of the 2nd Global Symposium of Research Methodology Innovation in Trauma and Emergency Care is to share innovative ideas, new research methodologies, and emerging technologies that address gaps in trauma and emergency care research. Experts in trauma care, emergency medicine, and research recognize the need for innovative approaches, rigorous scientific methods, and strong implementation science to ensure robust study design, sound statistical approaches, unbiased reporting of results, and effective translational efforts to disseminate research findings into medical care in real world settings. The Symposium will bring together the world’s leading researchers in the fields of statistics, epidemiology, clinical trials, regional trauma care, emergency medicine, translational and clinical research, data mining, artificial intelligence/machine learning, virtual reality, implementation science, and other emerging technologies to debate, discuss, and share state-of-the-art methods and experiences.
