A conference hosted by the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Dermatology Clinic team highlighting updates on pediatric dermatologic conditions frequently seen in the primary care practice. We will equip primary care providers with the knowledge and resources to confidently care for these patients. Attendees will receive practical, up-to-date, evidence-based information on pediatric dermatology topics. 

Topics include: 

• Eczema 
• Contact Dermatitis 
• Topical Steroid Use in Children, 
• Impact of Allergies on Dermatology 
• Acne and Acne Mimickers 
• Insects and Infestations 
• Dermatology in Skin of Color
• Fireside Chats: Hemangiomas, Alopecia, and Moles 

1. Identify common pediatric dermatologic conditions seen in primary care such as acne and atopic dermatitis
2. Integrate updated treatment recommendations for common pediatric dermatologic conditions
3. Describe relationships between allergies and atopic dermatitis.
4. Apply treatment recommendations for topical corticosteroids in pediatric atopic dermatitis.
