Continuing education for all stakeholders across the perinatal care environment on racial bias, stigma, discrimination, and the effects of structural racism in reproductive health. This effort is in support of our community goal to create equitable Black patient experiences and outcomes in infant mortality.

1. Develop an understanding of the created consequences of the unmet Social Determinants of Health throughout the 400+ year timeline
2. Establish the intra-connection between Black Family Health Inequity and Black Maternal and Infant Mortality
3. Address the inherent racism of systems, inclusive of health care, and how this impacts Black Family Health and Wellness

In support of improving patient care, Nationwide Children's Hospital is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC),  the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for the healthcare team.

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected].
