Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Center for Robotic Surgery has planned a two-day conference that will focus on robotic surgery program development, common clinical application presentations and case discussions in addition to a clinical animal lab experience designed to introduce robotic surgery to practicing pediatric surgeons.

1. Provide a comprehensive overview of clinical case scenarios amenable to the use of robotic technology for the pediatric population, including modification of techniques and safety considerations for application in a vulnerable population.
2. Review programmatic logistics including institutional support, personnel training, credentialing and quality control.
3. Review contemporary literature and related outcome data associated with robotic-assisted pediatric general and thoracic surgery.

TRAINEE REGISTRATION (with letter from Program)
Surgery Trainee In-Person Registration: Day 1- $150
Surgery Trainee In-Person Registration: Day 1 & Day 2- $650

*Perioperative Staff or Surgery Trainee Registration: Day 2 Lab- $500 (in addition to Day 1 registration, pending availability)

In-person registration is available for Day 1 (didactic sessions) and Day 2 (lab). Virtual registration is available for Day 1 only for a livestream of all didactic sessions and the opportunity to participate in question and answer sessions. Didactic sessions will be recorded and made available to all registrants after the symposium, as available. 

Surgery Attendings: If space is not available to register for Day 1 (didactic sessions) and Day 2 (lab), please register for Day 1 and join the waitlist for Day 2 during the registration process. You will be contacted if space becomes available for the lab portion on Day 2. 

Surgery Trainees and Perioperative Staff*: Registration is currently available for Day 1 (didactic sessions) only. If you are interested to also attend the lab, please note this when you register and you will be contacted if space becomes available for the lab portion on Day 2.

Nationwide Children's Hospital reserves the right to cancel or postpone this program if necessary; in the event of cancellation, course fees will be fully refunded. We are not responsible for other costs incurred such as non-refundable airline tickets or hotel penalties.
