Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Explain the clinical importance of traumatic injuries to the primary and permanent teeth.
  2. Recognize the factors that require emergency care in dental trauma.
  3. Identify measures that pediatricians can take in emergency management of traumatic injuries to the teeth.
  4. Explain anticipatory guidance for prevention of traumatic injuries to the teeth in children and adolescents.
