Overview

This in-person conference, hosted by the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Dermatology Clinic team, will highlight updates on pediatric dermatologic conditions frequently seen in the primary care practice, including hemangiomas, hair disorders, eczema, acne, genital rashes, warts and molluscum. The goal is to equip primary care providers with the knowledge and resources to confidently care for these patients within their setting, as well as, to give providers insights into the pediatric dermatology clinic, including referral recommendations, urgent care needs, and available treatment options unique to the clinic.

  • Registered nurses

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Identify common pediatric dermatologic conditions
  2. Integrate updated treatment recommendations for common pediatric dermatologic conditions
  3. Identify available treatment and service options for pediatric dermatologic conditions at NCH dermatology clinic
  4. Identify urgent cases for pediatric dermatology referrals
