Inter-professional staff conference to provide increased knowledge about the pathophysiology, diagnosing, treatments and prevention of common and emerging infectious diseases. Education is provided through lectures, Discussion Panel and Case studies

1. Discuss most current updates in evidence and research based knowledge base in diagnosing, treating and preventing various infectious diseases.
2. Apply updates in evidence and research based knowledge in diagnosing, treating and preventing Covid19.
3. Identify pathophysiology and new treatment protocols of febrile infant less than 60 days of age
4. Refer a patient to the ID clinic when appropriate
5. Assess optimal multi-disciplinary care and treatments of refugees and internationally adopted children

In support of improving patient care, Nationwide Children's Hospital is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC),  and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), to provide continuing medical education for the healthcare team.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected].
