Overview
The MLP is a leadership overview course that presents a range of strategic issues to build participants' awareness, knowledge and skills. The annual program kicks off with a two-hour session on "Leadership Imperative for Strategic Growth" with speakers Rick Miller (President and COO), Tim Robinson (CEO), and Darrell Mosby (Vice President, Regional Development). This activity seeks to address a variety of knowledge, skills, and performance gaps as it relates to better preparing physicians at NCH for leadership roles.

Objectives
  1. Effectively lead multidisciplinary teams of varying size and scope
  2. Identify and effectively manage resources to develop new programs and foster strategic growth
  3. Recruit and retain high performing team members
  4. Promote a culture of safety and continuously improve quality
  5. Address healthcare disparities and inequities
  6. Choose a leadership pathway that builds upon their personal strengths and interests

Accreditation
In support of improving patient care, Nationwide Children's Hospital is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC),  and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), to provide continuing medical education for the healthcare team.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected].
