Targeted Therapies Multi-Stakeholder Forum
1:15PM - 4:15PM

These non-CME sessions will include participants from pharmaceutical companies, regulatory agencies, advocacy groups, parents, and healthcare providers, with the goal of advancing the development of targeted therapies – both existing and novel agents – for the benefit of children with cancer. This will include consideration of equitable access to clinical trials, current barriers to drug development, and the ethical considerations of the use of targeted therapies. We aim to continue the conversations had in other venues and continue greater engagement at all levels of the healthcare spectrum.

Thank you for your interest in the 2024 Pediatric Oncology Integrative Diagnostics and Targeted Therapies Symposium. The conference will be held November 7-9, 2024 at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Conference Center in Columbus, Ohio. This symposium, co-sponsored by Nationwide Children’s Hospital Division of Hematology, Oncology, and Blood & Marrow Transplant, in collaboration with the Department of Pathology, and the Institute for Genomic Medicine (IGM).

It will provide a comprehensive 3-day overview of current and developing diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for pediatric cancers. This symposium will enable pediatric oncology teams to integrate these new tools, many of which have been spearheaded at the IGM, at each stage of care of children with cancer.

We are proud to host internationally renowned visiting faculty members from institutions across the country as well as experts from both Nationwide Children’s Hospital and The Ohio State University.

We anticipate an attendance of approximately 100-150 physicians, pharmacists, psychosocial services, nurses, and other pediatric care providers from throughout the United States to join us for this inaugural conference in person, as well as many more through our virtual platform.
