Overview

The 2025 Neonatal/Fetal Conference will highlight concepts of the use of evidence-based principles of care in perinatal, fetal, and neonatal practice. The rapidly expanding evidence in these specialty areas poses challenges for the professional to remain current and to recognize opportunities for change in thought and practice. The goal of the conference is to offer science, methodology, practice initiatives and discussion points for the participant to explore. The target audience includes nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists, social workers and any other health care workers who need to broaden their abilities to support babies, parents and families in the healthcare setting.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Utilize evidence-based practice recommendations to improve patient outcomes
  2. Implement latest evidence-based treatment options in perinatal and neonatal patients to improve the quality of care
  3. Incorporate the most up-to-date, relevant patient education and self-management guidelines into practice for patients and families to utilize before, during, and after discharge in order to successfully transition care into the home
  4. Improve communication among the healthcare team

We will welcome in person attendees into Nationwide Children's Conference Center, located in downtown Columbus. Virtual participants will have access to the livestream. Note the conference is in real time only, eastern time zone.

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, Nationwide Children's Hospital is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC),  the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for the healthcare team.  

Nationwide Children’s Hospital designates this live activity for a maximum of 19.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Thank you for your interest in the 2025 Neonatal/Fetal Conference: From the Womb and Beyond. The conference will be held on May 13-15, 2025 at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Conference Center.  

We are honored to host physician and nursing experts from Nationwide Children’s Hospital. This conference is designed for practitioners, clinicians, and students in the fields of neonatology, pediatrics, obstetrics, genetic counseling, maternal-fetal medicine, fetal surgery, pediatric surgery, cardiology and sonography. We anticipate approximately 200 physicians, nurses, and other pediatric care providers from Ohio and the contiguous states to convene for this annual conference.
