The 5th Annual IMPAACT Summit is an exciting two-day event with multiple visiting professionals and clinical therapy experts from Nationwide Children’s. This year’s focus is on Assistive Technology for communication, participation and inclusion in daily life activities. Registrants can choose to attend both days or select either day as a single day option.

Join us for this in-person event, including hands-on learning labs where you will be able to interact with Assistive Technology from different companies and develop skills for multiple disabilities.

Hands-on Learning Labs:

Day 1 - Interact with AAC devices from four different AAC device companies to build skills for:

• Setup and design of device layouts to meet multicultural needs

• Maximizing use of specific device features to increase efficiency such as word prediction, pre-stored phrase, and text-to-speech options

Day 2 - Focus on mounting and positioning using a variety of seating and adaptive equipment supports

ASHA and OT Board continuing education credit will be available pending approval.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected].

Nationwide Children's Hospital reserves the right to cancel or postpone this program if necessary; in the event of cancellation, course fees will be fully refunded. We are not responsible for other costs incurred such as non-refundable airline tickets or hotel penalties.
