Inter-Professional conference which provides enhanced knowledge pertaining to pathophysiology, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of common and emerging infectious diseases. Education is provided through lectures, case studies and discussion panel question and answer.

1. Implement the most current updates in evidence and research-based knowledge when diagnosing, treating, and preventing various infectious diseases
2. Apply updates in Redbook resource
3. Utilize a multi-disciplinary care approach to treating select infectious disease
4. Consider updates in vaccination practices when treating patients.
5. Improve communication among the healthcare team leading to improved collaboration when treating patients.

In support of improving patient care, Nationwide Children's Hospital is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC),  and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), to provide continuing medical education for the healthcare team.

Cancellation Policy

We are unable to accommodate requests to convert in-person registration to virtual participation after registration closes on Friday, April 4, 2025.

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected].

Nationwide Children's Hospital reserves the right to cancel or postpone this program if necessary; in the event of cancellation, course fees will be fully refunded. We are not responsible for other costs incurred such as non-refundable airline tickets or hotel penalties.

Thank you for your interest in the 42nd Annual Dwight A. Powell Pediatric Infectious Diseases Conference in conjunction with the 40th Annual Pediatric Infectious Diseases Nursing Conference. The conference will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025 at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Conference Center.  
We are honored to host physician and nursing experts from Nationwide Children’s Hospital. We anticipate an attendance of approximately 200 physicians, nurses, and other pediatric care providers from Ohio and the contiguous states to convene for this annual conference.
