Conference Description:

The 2022 Fetal Center at Nationwide Children's Hospital Annual Conference will provide key updates on aspects of prenatal, perinatal and postnatal management for infants with congenital anomalies. Topics will include an updated on cutting edge genetic diagnosis in the prenatal and postnatal settings, joint decision making for complex anomalies with a focus on the role of perinatal palliative care, management of d-Transposition of the Great Arteries, and fetal surgery and postnatal management for myelomeningocele patients.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Describe appropriate utilization of advanced prenatal and postnatal genetic testing options
  2. Improve prenatal diagnosis of fetal anomalies
  3. Understand current indications for fetal therapies
  4. Describe impact of perinatal therapy on long term outcomes for infants with fetal anomalies
