Christi bio

 

Christi Kennedy OTD, OTR/L is an Occupational Therapist at Ohio State’s Assistive Technology Center. She received her OTD education from OSU and has been working a unique position for the past 4 years split across all three service lines at the AT Center: Wheelchair Clinic, Smart Clinic, and Driver Rehab.

 

Christi is passionate about finding a just right match between assistive technology and the users needs and regularly advocates for the needs of her clients. She has played a leading role in developing processes and increasing the population for the Smart Clinic at the AT Center where people are assessed for adaptive gaming equipment, home automation devices, and other assistive technology.

 

As a Driver Rehab Specialist, Christi works with new drivers, aging drivers, and neurodivergent populations. Christi has been active with the team in developing new assessment techniques used in the clinic to accurately capture baseline driving readiness for neurodivergent drivers and has helped in developing new educational material for drivers at the program. Christi enjoys collaborating with the OSU team of PT, OT, SLP, and Rehab Engineering to best serve her clients and families.
