Peter B. Baker, MD

Dr. Baker completed undergraduate degree in Life Science and Chemistry at Otterbein College (1975) and Doctor of Medicine degree at The Ohio State University (1978). Residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology was completed at The Ohio State University from 1978 through 1982. Dr. Baker joined the faculty at The Ohio State University in 1982 and was promoted to the rank of Clinical Professor in 1995. He has received many teaching awards including the College of Medicine Professor of the Year (1993-1994).  He actively participated in Committees of the College of American Pathologists (Autopsy Committee Chair 1996 - 1999). Dr. Baker joined the staff at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in 2002 and was Director of Anatomic Pathology from 2004 to 2018). Areas of special interest include Autopsy, Cardiovascular, Pulmonary and Renal pathology.
