Dr. Lynda Villagomez is a clinical instructor in the Hematology/Oncology/BMT division at Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH) and a postdoctoral research fellow in the Abigail Wexner Research Institute and Comprehensive Cancer Center at The Ohio State University. Dr. Villagomez received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed her residency at Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital in NYC. She completed her Hematology/Oncology fellowship training at NCH, where she established a new institutional pathway for physicians interested in basic and translational research careers. Her clinical focus includes leukemia/lymphoma, post-transplant lymphoproliferative disease (PTLD), and Hemophagocytic Histiocytosis (HLH). Dr. Villagomez is also an Epic Physician Builder, interested in interoperability and operational research informatics to support researchers and improve research infrastructure.
