Dr Honegger is an associate professor of pediatrics at the Ohio State University and has been an attending physician within the division of pediatric infectious diseases at Nationwide Children’s Hospital since 2008. His primary research focus has been on the hepatitis C virus, specifically immunity to the virus in pregnancy and childhood, and clinical trials of treatments for hepatitis C in children. He enjoys caring for children in the inpatient infectious disease ward and consult services, and also children with HIV and hepatitis C in the outpatient FACES clinic.
