Benjamin Prince, MD, MSCI
Benjamin Prince, MD, MSCI is an associate professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Allergy and Immunology. He received his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and obtained his pediatric residency training at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. He then went on to complete both a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology and a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation at Northwestern University in Chicago prior to joining the faculty at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in 2015.
Dr. Prince is Board-Certified in Allergy and Immunology and serves as the Immunology Director of the multidisciplinary Hemo-Immuno-Lymphoproliferative (HILP) clinic at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. While he treats children with a variety of allergic and immunologic conditions, his areas of interest are in food allergy and inborn errors of immunity. On a national level, Dr. Prince is a Past Chair of the New Allergist/Immunologist Assembly of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI), serves on the In-Training Examination Committee of the same organization, and is one of the senior editors of the American College of Allergy Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI) Board Review Book. He is also an active member of several other committees within the AAAAI, ACAAI, and Clinical Immunology Society. In addition to his clinical and academic responsibilities, Dr. Prince is passionate about medical education and loves teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows.
