- Personal Statement
After completing my Pediatric and Neonatal training in Ireland, I moved to Dallas/TX and completed a Neonatal Fellowship as well as a pediatric residency program. I was appointed as Assistant Professor / Attending Neonatologist at OSU/Nationwide Children’s Hospital in October 2018. My interests are within neonatal resuscitation / simulation education. I have numerous publications within neonatal resuscitation including use of ET and IV epinephrine in the delivery room. Currently, I serve as medical director for Neonatal Simulation and help plan and carry out multidisciplinary simulation education sessions within the neonatal network. From July 2023, I was appointed as a general member of the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Steering Committee. My responsibilities as a committee member include guiding the development and implementation of NRP education materials and best practices for newborn resuscitation.
