Dr. Jonathan Napolitano serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in The Ohio State University College of Medicine and is an attending physician in both the department of Orthopedics and division of Sports Medicine at Nationwide Children's Hospital

Originally from Northeast Ohio, Dr. Napolitano attended Georgetown University and The University of Toledo College of Medicine. He trained in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Loyola University Medical Center and Edward Hines Jr. Veterans Administration Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his training with a fellowship in Pediatric Sports Medicine here at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

In addition to treating athletes in Sports Medicine’s traditional musculoskeletal and concussion clinics, Dr. Napolitano is the Director of the Adaptive Sports Medicine Program and Limb Deficiency Clinic, innovative multidisciplinary clinics developed to evaluate and treat athletes with disabilities, promoting physical activity and inclusion. Dr. Napolitano also serves as the co-director of the musculoskeletal ultrasound program of the division of sports medicine. With the use of real time and dynamic imaging Dr. Napolitano is able to accurately evaluate, diagnose, treat, and educate patients and families with common musculoskeletal ailments.
